Took the trim ring off the cowl light on my 30 sedan to replace the trim ring and discovered there's a metal spring type clip or spacer in there. This clip or spacer keeps the lens in place. It's a little rusty and now a little more deformed after I removed it. Anybody know of a replacement spring clip or maybe an o-ring that fits this ?

I had the same problem with the clips on my 30 sedan, and I just found some plated wire of the same (or close) diameter, and made new retention clips. All it takes is pliers and some bending and shaping with your fingers.

Hobbyists use piano wire for many things. Perfect for this purpose. Al W.

I believe the company you are seeking is Rhode Island Wiring Service and not Long Island. http://www.riwire.com/
