I have a 32 coupe. I just installed halogen 6 volt bulbs the improvement is amazing. My problem is the tail light bulb does not fill the hole at the bottom therefore allowing water to enter the light fixture. Does anyone know how to seal the opening and still allow the light to shine on the license plate. Thank you

You could try a thin sheet of plastic like from a coke bottle.

What number of bulb are you using?

I purchased the Halogen lights from Bill Hirsch in New Jersey (ask for Eric). The stop light is their # 1129/87 and the running light is there # 81/63 BA15s. I cannot tell you what an improvement these bulbs have made to my 6 volt system. Bill Hirsch # 800 828 2061

So are you running the original 31/32 lens? Halogen bulbs will put off a lot of heat.

I'll look into them when I'm at Hershey.
