This car is driven every day according to the owner. Rain or Shine. Amazing.
Check out the soupcan running lights. laugh

Those look like fine candidates for a little more chrome and repaint. I think yours may have started out as did the one with the soup can lights. nanana dance bike

It's both amazing and a wonder what a little chrome and some paint (pick a color, any color) will do for one of those old floor shifting, running board laden, short wheel-based critters. wave

Who knows; stick a 235 and some other performance enhancing equipment into one of them and pretty soon you have ... well, still a 38, I guess. Agrin

Ray,

Don't think so. One has much better paint than the other. Agrin Also, note the soup cans on the upper pictured one.

The poster said he drove this car every day ,rain or shine. I guess it's the same car, maybe a few months apart from being photographed. Usually the accessories come later, in this case, maybe after dinner(soup cans).smiles Agrin

The top photo looks like a photograph after a major clean up for the car show..grin Maybe a damp rag with Kerosene and some nice apple scent hanging under the dash. grin

I think the second picture looks better. It looks, well "original". Some cars just don't look good with white wall tires. Just my opinion, thanks, Tom

Just kidding. If you don't like whitewalls you would have been really upset in 1938. Some whitewalls were on BOTH sides !!

I agree that blackwalls look better on some cars, a good example is 32-34 coupes and roadsters. Just my 2 cents.
