The Fan on my 1936 Commercial Truck is an orig."GM" fan. It has the large "GM" tag in the center. The fan has never been painted. The cage and fan blades along with the neck that it stands on are Semi-Gloss black. The Ball that it swivels on is metal. The "GM" letters are silver and the background is black. As this was a dealer item/add on I would think that there might be other ones that they sold. Good Luck.

The 1939 accessory manual describes the fan color as "dark beige enamel"....."to blend properly with the car interior".
