On the 1936 Chevy 4 door sedans, are the inside of the fenders (front and back) painted black or the color of the body?

On the rear fenders is the inner wheel well (on body) painted black or the color of the body?

The fenders were black The rear inner, which was part of the body, was body color.

The same was true on my 1930 Sport Coupe. The body panel in the rear wheel opening, which still had the original paint, was painted black, not body color.

I believe that would be true on the older models because the are was much more exposed. On the 1934 and up as an example the deeper fenders hid that area.
