I have a 1932 2 passanger Deluxe Coupe. It has an original trunk not a converted rumble seat. My research shows that production of this car in 1932 was approximately 2400 can anyone tell me anything about this car and what I can do to refurbish the original steering box? The car rides great and not a squeak or a rattle. Thanks

Welcome to Chevy Chatter! Glad to have you with us.

As mentioned in the reply to your other post in the "Chat Suggestions, Comments or Issues" forum , if you would like to learn more about your car, please give us the information that is on the Fisher Body cowl tag that is riveted to the face of the cowl under the hood. Also list the engine block casting number, engine serial number and the casting date. If your car serial number plate still exists, give us the serial number that is on the plate as well. The car serial number plate is located on the passenger side wood main sill facing the passenger side door. With the above information we will be glad to help you.

To expand the discussion on your car you might want to post in the 1929-32 forum on this site where more fellows will see your postings.

It was 13 days since your first post. In most cases the VCCA chat is right on top of things so you don't need to wait several weeks for us to get it together. Chevrolet vehicles is what we do & WE do it good....Joe

To navigate the site just view the Chevy Chatter home page that has all of the different forums listed. Then pick the forum that pertains to your year of vehicle or to your specific question and then post in that particular forum. Example; your question above about your '32 Chevrolet would be posted in the 1929-32 forum since that forum covers the 1929 thru 1932 model year vehicles.

Normally you want to begin at the CHAT HOMEPAGE
https://vccachat.org/

Login in there.

Then scroll down to the forum that you're most interested in.
HINT: You can collapse GROUPS by clicking on the Up-Triangle to the right. If you do this a few times, then the list will become significantly shorter.

Another way to begin is to click on ACTIVE TOPICS at the top of the page. That lists the Most Recent postings across all groups.

Good luck!!! And Welcome.
