I am adding a stereo to my car, i am putting the rec under the set ,now i dont know about the speakers,i have 1 speaker in rear deck and 1 up front, do i just add 1 more to rear deck or just go with 1 in front an back ?..
Please helpÂ

For several years the solution to stereo was to place the dash speaker and the package ledge for the second. If the driver turned his head to the right he had stereo, same for the passenger if he turned his head to the left. It was several years later that we had stereo with two speakers in the front, and then several more to have 4 speaker stereo. For a long time we also had front and rear speakers with a fader mounted on either the dash or later in the radio.

I thought about just adding another to rear deck and maybe matching grills

got the front speakers in i went with the duel 4" side by side it worked great , now to the rear dont know there yet and acoarse the radio dont want to do the glove compartment but i might to
