Hi, I have a VIN on a '32 Roadster. With this information is it possible to find out the original owner, date and place of purchase and dealer details? I can decode the VIN and engine numbers OK, but that doesn't tell me the other information. Regards, John.

Please don't use the word VIN in reference to these antique cars. It makes the tax collectors nervous. To answer your question, NO, you can't chase down that information from the serial number.
