VCCA Home Forums GENERAL DISCUSSION New User Forum Metropolidan Chevrolet Co, Los Angles, CALIF

What I am researching one of the Chevrolet dealers in Los Angeles that was located on Sunset Blvd.(in the Silverlake District name of Metropolitan Chevrolet Co. The owner was Roy T. Beckham who died on May 10, 1973 at 77 years old.
I am not sure when this dealership started but it must of been in the mid 30's and likely was closed down shortly after he died in 1973.
Was he like Harry Mann a large Corvette dealer? Photos of the building?. Anyone bought a car there?

Hey Ken! This sounds like a very interesting and fun research project that you are undertaking. I wish you a lot of success with it! Since you have been a long time member of the VCCA and also here on Chevy Chatter, I hope that we can read about your finished product down the road here on Chevy Chatter.

As a suggestion, if you want more dudes to view your post which might help you to gain some information for your project, you might also want to start an additional thread in the General Discussions forum as well. That way probably more guys will read it than here in the "New To Chat" forum which is where new folks to Chevy Chatter can post their very first question.
