This car was at last weekends car show . Disregard the fact that it's a streetrod, what do you think of the color? It looks to me like a battleship gray. Unusual but different, Ole Charlie couldn't make his mind up about a color for his 41,maybe he should consider this color...grin

BTW..I'd love to own this car.

I agree,it doesn't look good even on an older chevy. I though I might be missing out on a new trend or something..smiles

Car SUCKS in my opinion...The person who did this to that car should be arrested for "car abuse"....ED

I'd be surprised if you could "go" faster than 5 mph on and off the trailer...Air you say...?

I'm a machinist, so I look at that color all day...

Disregarding the fact that both cars are street rods -as asked by the poster for us to do- I can say that I think the colors and paint jobs are pretty cool (to borrow a teenage term) and nicely done. It appears that the second one is two-toned. Even cooler paint job.

Often these cars don't show very well in the lighter colors: at least it seems that way to me. Accordingly, it must have taken an adventurous soul to paint them the colors they are.

I admire the painter's art (preparation and skill).

Charlie...I guess that answers the question you raised awhile back "what color should I paint my 41' convertible???"...This problem is now apparently solved.
New problem....Has Charlie flipped??? and decided to join the hot rod crowd ???? If so why not paint it with that paint that changes colors when you walk around it, like a abalone in the sun???? That would be "COOL"....ED
BTW....Then you could break out your old polyester suit with the bell bottom pants that was the style in your neck of the woods in the 1960's...COOL MAN COOL
