1940 Master Deluxe, WHAT do I use as Terminal Boards on the inner fender walls when I have added turn signals? That adds one more wire on each board, and there isn't an empty screw? I have ordered cheap terminal strip to use till I find something that looks original. What does everybody else do? Chevy's of the 40s only lists the 4 screw terminal boards.

Thanks,
Ed

Four is one more than I have in my '38. Of course I use the highly efficient arm out the window turn signal. laugh Why wouldn't four work? One for high beam, one for low beam, one for park lights and one for turn signals.

Wouldn't 2 wires be needed for left and right turn signal? stressed

You could just replace the 3 connection terminal strip with one from a 53-54 with Hi, Lo, Park, Lt.Tr connections or go to Radio Shack and get a couple of the generic terminal strips. I replaced the old raggedy ones on my 53 with new ones that I ordered somewhere from a vendor, probably NCA. The hard thing was removing the old ones, rivits.

I guess I don't understand. I have one on the inside of each front fender. Your '40 doesn't I assume? If you do have one on each fender one would be low beam, one would be high beam, one would be park light and one would be turn signal. All you would need would be four on each side. Then again if you only have one for both sides you would need more than four.

Looking at the wiring diagram it shows one on each fender BUT I see the fourth is taken by the horn on each side. Hmmmmm......
