after changing my front wheel hub bearings I noticed the end of the sway bar on the drivers side has split in half about 3 to 4 inches back from the end. I got a used replacement from a scrapyard and the one they gave me is smaller in diameter. the original is about 1 5/16". the replacement is about 1". my truck is an 05 silverado 1500 2wd C model. the replacement is off of an 06 silverado 1500 4x4 k model. they gave me the center bushings with the replacement and I wonder if this is a safe sway bar to use due to the smaller diameter.
any ideas? bill
