Does anyone know if there is a stronger spring tension for the coil springs in the pressure plate for a 37 chevy? or are they all the same? Thanks,

FYI!! I was just informed by our G&D tech. adviser, that these pressure plate coiled springs remained the same tension for the entire production run from 1929-37. I was just curious as to if they made any with STRONGER tension.

You could probably find springs that have more tension with the same dimensions , however keep in mind it will also increase the pedal pressure required to release it.

Good point Steve,I'm glad I put original NOS springs back in it while I was rebuilding it. Something told me to leave well enough alone.
