Hello Everyone,
In my pursuit to be sure that my '37MD "black car" is road worthy I had discovered during adjusting the clutch that the fork and pivot ball were worn and I was able to purchase these parts.
My next problem I'm hoping someone here can help me with. Below are pics of a spring wire that does double duty in the clutch assembly.....

Below is a pic of where it is located on the clutch...........

My problem is I need one or a complete set (prefer a set). i found that one of them was broken in half. One half in the inspection cover the other have was still locked on the pivot pin of the clutch finger.
I did find a company when I googled the part, but the company hasn't notified me if they have any in stock.
I'm hoping someone here can help me or lead me in the right direction.
In advance..... Thank you all for any help you can offer.

The 38 clutch is what is still being used today unless it has changed again.

The 1937 had a coil spring pressure plate. The 1938 changed to a diaphragm type spring pressure plate. The broken spring is part # 837558 and fits 1934-1937.

Thank you guy's,
The '38 clutch is different from the '37. It just so happens that my '37 MD "white car" has a '38 clutch in it and so was not able to "borrow" parts to keep the "black car" moving forward.
The p/n that Chevegene posted is the p/n that I am searching for. The company I found is called D&D Antique Auto Parts out of Alabama. He has bought up NOS parts from closed dealerships and sells them part time so i know it may take a while before I hear from him.
I'm going to check Tim's posting and see if he has what I need.
I knew you guy's would come thru. Thanks again !

Gene, about the 37 coil springs for the pressure plate. Did they ever make any with stronger tensions?? or were they all the same? Thanks,

Hi Tim,
Thank you for the lead. Bruce replied and said he only had one left and that it is a used one. I'm going to purchase it so I can move the car and continue to look for new ones.

Hello Everyone,
I'm putting out feelers for a clutch release bearing (p/n 837021) for my '37 MD "black car". The contact "fingers" that fit into the fork are worn from not being secured to the fork (I found the retainer clips in the inspection cover). I have sent an e-mail to Tim's contact, Bruce, but I thought i would expand my search to a wider audience incase he can't help me. I spent the last week searching the internet with only one hit and it was an expensive hit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
