Below is a description of what I have done to the car.
1932 Chevrolet 4 door. This car has had the restoration started. This is a running and driving car. It is an excellent project with the main body wood very good shape but is does need a top wood kit which I
removed last fall and sent to KC Manufacturing along with 50% down and should be done soon. The motor is a excellent running motor with no issues. I have detailed the front half of the car. The brakes were disassembled and blasted, repainted and reinstalled. All the king pins and shackles are like new. The motor has new water pump belt and correct hoses and clamps. Also I have replaced the battery box with a new one and also the correct battery cables are new, along with a brand new battery. The radiator shell and grill are newly chromed and it has a good radiator. I have powder coated the fan radiator/fender support and engine side pans. The wheels have been blasted and powder coated and new tubes with the nickel stems mounted to new Firestone tires along with new hubcaps. The body as mentioned before has good wood other than the roof, but is has some rust in the cowl and right rear quarter panel which parts are available for. There are some dents in the roof that I have begun to work out after removing the paint from the area The car still sports its original seats and mohair though the rest of the interior fabric is gone. I do have all garnish moldings for it and the wood grain is still on most of it. The fenders are very nice one is a replacement that I got with the car and is has a light surface rust on it only. The splash aprons are rough and I have a second set that are good enough to use The hood is extremely nice with no dents.. The paint on the car is basically original but someone had brushed black paint on the lower section. I have the bright work but it will need to be re chromed. I am selling the car because I need to invest 10k in my sons teeth over the next 2 years. I have around 9500.00 in the car and will take 6200.00 for it. Please email me with any questions.
