Some say "Street is neat". I prefer "1928 is great" I have documented my 45 years with a 1928 Chev Tourer, from 1973 to 2018, and regulary add other items that I hope are of interest to others. Your comments are most welcome. The story of the Red Chev can be viewed at http://my28chev.blogspot.com/

Looks like an Oz 26 exported 'to' the UK?

Yes, it was an Australian car. Owned by a long time member of the Castlemaine Historic Vehicle Club (country Victoria) who sadly passed away a couple of years ago.
The Castlemaine club badge can be seen on the right hand side of the headlight bar.
Regards, Greg.

I think the Oz swage line on the 26 makes them a far more appealing car - I wonder why NZ never got the Oz made 1926 cars as I dont think I have ever seen swaged 26 panels - apologies if this has been discussed before.

Those photos were taken here before the car went to GB for sure, the good Dr. from NZ is responsible for exporting more of our Australian motoring history than enyone else, but if we wont buy them when they come up for sale we cant expect anything else

Hi Guys,
It just goes to prove good things come from OZ, even an approved looking Chev.
Yes its a shame that they leave our shores, but!!!
Cheers
Ray
