Good Day All I need to replace the cloth roof of my 1932 Chev 5 window coupe. Does anyone make a complete kit just like the origional?
Any hints or clues about installing one? Thanks Mike

No accurate roof kits that I know of. The original was a patterned fabricoid. Vinyl would be the modern replacement.

I bought a top kit from Hampton Coach for my '31 coupe, and as I installed it, I sealed it with a 3M product called "clear auto sealer". The sealer was used everywhere that I thought could possibly leak. Sid

Wire-on and a similar product (whose name escapes me) is usually provided with the top kit. It's not authentic, but the original metal strips are not available. It's on my '31, and you can see pictures at www.1931chevrolet.com under "restoration". Sid
