Picked up a saw mill while looking for a engine..Chevy engine cross ways on a model T F### frame a belt driving a 3' blade.

has a stamped # 2211243
I'm hopeing it si a 1928 but has no pannels over push rods??

Yeah, the block is from 1928. The casting date was January (A), 18, 1928. There should be ridges on the block upon which the push rod covers would sit. What does the head look like? If it has 2 exhaust ports, it's also from '28.
