OP 1931truck Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 38 New Hampshire	How was the tag on the firewall of the 1931 pickup fastened. Mine is fastened with screws. Is this proper or were rivets used. Thank you in advance. Lee Someone's opinion of you does not have to become your reality.

The serial number plate was screwed onto the cowl. Over the years, I have also seen several other 1931-32 trucks and their serial number plates were screwed on as well.
