I have a 1931 AE 4dr sedan and when I got it the rear seat was missing. I know it had a wood frame but no one seems to sell replacments.
Anybody know where I can get one? or dimensions to make my own

I have the correct uncovered seat frames and wood pieces in my car. I'll pull them out and take photos for you over this week end. I also have spares in rough shape but they may be rebuildable. I'll aalso check them to see if they should be saved. Al W.

Not positive but I believe Hampton Coach can help.

Check the parts for sale section Parts for 1931, I believe Jim Burch indicated he had '31 rear seat, should be same as '32 I think.

Hampton only shows Cabriolet and coupe. i e-mailed them asking if they have for a 4drsd

If you want new reproduction seat spring units Snyder Antique Auto Parts in New Springfield, OH can build them if they have the dimensions. If Al has the old springs even if they might be saved it probably best to send them to Snyder's and have new ones made.

Re the listing I was not able to find it quickly, but it is there somewhere. However, the member is "oldgto", and his name is Jim Burch, of Florida, and he indicated he had a rear seat that was only missing the upholstery. I bought some front seat hardware from him, great to deal with. I will give you his email address if you send me a PM. Try searching "1931 Chevy 2 door coach parts", I just found it using that!
