I watched To Kill a Mockingbird last night. The car Gregory Peck drove was a 4 door sedan with wood spoke wheels, and it appeared to have bow tie emblems in the belt moldings of the rear doors. The movie was set in 1932. Anybody know what the car was?

Looks more like a 1929 DA Dodge or a 1929 Standard 6 Dodge. The deeper bowl style headlights and the mounting are Dodge/Chrysler in style.

Thanks CJP, what was getting me was the emblems on the belt moldings below the windows in the rear doors. It was not real clear, but looked like a bow tie.

I may be wrong, but rather than the car driven by G. Pexk, I believe the chevy is driven by the Sheriff. The chevy is best seen as the Sheriff drives up to ask Peck to shoot a rabid dog.
