Grant,

Let me be the first (and hopefully not the only one) to say well done.

Cheers

Ray

Some say "Street is neat". I prefer "1928 is great"

I have documented my 45 years with a 1928 Chev Tourer, from 1973 to 2018, and regulary add other items that I hope are of interest to others. Your comments are most welcome. The story of the Red Chev can be viewed at http://my28chev.blogspot.com/

G'day jack,

I just rolled the rear tub out in the sunshine on the table and gave the inside of it a paint with a flat black rust primer ready for Sunday as Ray is coming up to lend a hand in positioning it which will take a little lifting with it off and on the chassis a few times I gather by looking at it, and yes I will post up some pictures Sunday night, thanks...

Grant looks good.
Not critisising, but there is supposed to be a 9" wide sheet metal panel behind the front seat. It was nailed to to main runners and the adjoining floor boards. The full boards will work just as well.

Gidday Chris,

Yes I was sort of left hanging with what to do there, doesn't matter either way to me but I like the timber finish and the photos do not do the woodwork colours justice really and yes I am installing a metal plate over the gap in the floor.... Loving this project..

Hey Grant,

Your a good example to a lot of us old cootes. Your not talking about it for 20 years, your not a gunna, your getting off your freckle and giving it a good old fashioned go. Now I dont know a lot about old chevs, but cant help thinking your doing a reasonable sort of a job.

I wish I had half the motivation, and energy, that you must have.

Keep up the good work, its good reading
