Here's a Feb 17, 2010 "article." I presume it's what Gene was referring to just above.... back in February.

Not much more info in the article. Mostly just a re-hash of what had already been printed.

Old Cars "36 Corvettes" article

The whole thing is still a damn shame!!

yes we did.
these cars are getting worst by the day. the old place had a bird problem nesting in the ceiling and now the cars are covered with bird dropping. plus roof leaks now the cars smell like mold. the new place is 2 floors down in a basement and it has a water problem. won`t be long for these cars to rust from the bottom up. alot of the hoods were up and somebody was playing with the engines. parts are missing. air cleaners etc.
we were told this new place is only temp and we will be moving them again in the fall who knows where this time. i had my foot get run over by one them and luckly the tires were low on air and i didn`t get hurt. the more we move these cars the worst they get. sorry i didn`t get to post up the picutres yet been to busy. the only good thing about this move was it was raining so some of the cars got a rain water bath. it pained me to see them again. will keep you guys posted on what happens with these cars in the future.

Thanks for the up-date. I remember this contest and paid $2 for that phone call to enter.
