ok guys i need major help. i bought a 1965 chevy from this guy with tittle in hand. my problem is now during restoration i noticed that the vintag is missin on the vehicle. i contacted my local sheriff department to get a new vintag. they told me that i need to bring the car in running. i want to confirm the vin on the car with the tittle that i have before investing more money on it and find out that the car is stolen. so does anyone know if there is a number on the frame somewhere and how can i confirm that number with the tittle that i have?

The only two I know of would be the one in the front window and the one on the drivers door by the hinges. I will check my books but I do not know of any others at this point. If I find any more locations I will let you know.
