howdy all
i'm about ready to nail some metal to wood on my 1935 EB truck
and was wondering if the body nails they used were coated with anything to make them hold tight and not work themselves loose from the vibration of the truck or car daily driveing??
i think they used to coat nails with rossen< spelling< dried pine sap i think. anybody know and if they did can you still buy them???

I don't know what the manufacturers used but I have found small ring shank galvanized nails that really grip.

Ring nails are great, I am using them in a lot of places on my 36. But, make no mistakes!! you will play hell trying to remove them.
