i am replacing the wood in my 31 5 passenger coupe i need to know if i need to un weld the body sheet metal to replace the wood in the body oldpush

if it is because some is rotted but still there, you can make it like new with stuff sold by the rod doctor in seattle. we have done two here so far and it is terrific.

the wood is beyond the rod doctor stuff the sills are bad and door post plus some around the top

When I replaced the door pillars and the top piece on my Five Passenger Coupe, I broke the weld on the angle bracket at the top of each pillar just behind the windshield but above the doors.... couldn't figure out any other way to do it...

HELLO OLD PUSH. IF YOU GO TO 29-32 SECTION AND CLICK ONTO PAGE FOUR AND SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE TO CHEVY WOOD REPLACEMENT, I THINK YOU WILL GET SOME GOOD INFORMATION ABOUT REPLACING THE WOOD IN YOUR COUPE. GOOD LUCK. chevy chevy :) :)
