this ends a very long search made possible by VCCA and it's many members who have been there for me-yesterday I received all!! the remaining missing pieces(brackets&braces)to resume construction of my new wood frame from Albert Staffen of Mi.for the whopping sum of $20-they are exactly correct although others were close causing lots of confusion-there are many to thank,Art Sell who got me started with cowl pieces,Chip&JYD,Bill Barker for tech support,Vettle67 for moral support-to cover everyone my thanks to entire club-as I progress I will place order with Gary Wallace who was instrumental in recovering some of the costs incurred by loss in shipping debacle and other club vendors who may offer needed pieces-this nightmare ended with a free add in G&D so those of you not members-become one!!!!!

Cool! Glad to hear that you now have all of the brackets and braces that you needed for your project. Good going! Remember though, never....ever ship anything that is irreplaceable or of value through the post office because you might have to go through the whole mess again.

Good luck with your car!

Man! That's just the Cats Meow!!! We are all sooooo lucky to have the VCCA by our side. This hobby comes with so many inherent frustrations that, "with a little bit of help from our friends", we can overcome all obstacles! Please remember to post some pictures as you go. Congratulations!

Glad to hear of your good news. Just imagine the story you will have to tell when someone ask about your car.

good morning and thank you-it will be a long story indeed-I'm fortunate to have original 1970 Hemmings Motor News with my car featured on cover-the spark is back to complete it once again

Thats wonderful Terry. I was going to e-mail you that I have the first four small roof braces behind the front roof corner brackets if you need them. They are rather small and go from the door header to the main roof bow. I do not have the two furthest from the windshield. Let me know.
