i'm getting the dash painted in my 27 4dr sedan. the car is painted correctly, blue/blk. the question is, is the dash blue with the inlay strip blk or the other way around? thanks

Jerry, the dash is blue and the inlay black on my car.The dash is the origional paint.

which part are you calling the inlay, both of my 27's have black at the top and body color at the bottom..

hi ron, what we are calling the recess is the narrow strip where the mounting screws are. i'm led to beleive that the dash is the main body color and the strip is black. that may not be the case with open cars. if anyone has any knowledge of this discussion please chime in. 1927 closed body
