I have just finished having the seats in my 49 Fleetline Deluxe 4 door upholstered. I found the 100% correct fabric from SMS and had the work done locally. I have the original upholstery available for patterns. They have been carefully taken apart and marked as patterns. I would be happy to loan or possibly sell them if anyone is interested.

Note that there were two completely different upholstery materials used in 1949 for the Deluxe series. The standard material was a tan flat broad cloth with a stripe. The optional was a ribbed mohair. Both were rather common.

Gene, Mine has the standard striped broadcloth. SMS was the only supplier that I found with that material. It is EXACT!. Hampton Coach has the other interior material and in kit form.
