I have an Atwater Kent 666 tube car radio (circa 1932)

I own two 27 chevy's, what is the rule of thumb for having accessories installed on your car that were built and sold in a +/- 10 year timeframe of the car manufacture date.

Anything non Chevy frowned upon??

I may never have my car judged but I was just curious about vintage car owner consenus.

Ron1967 it's your car and you aren't going to have it judged at car shows so do what you want. If someone doesn't like it then let them frown all they want. Enjoy your car.

I agree. If you're going to have it judged, then the judging rules are your guidelines. If no judging, each vehicle is a work of art that attempts to articulate an owner's vision.

Hi all,

I agree with Steve and Dean,

If your want to submit your pride and joy for judging, then yes, there should be some level playing field.

But if you Chevy is not for judging let them turn those frowns upside down and smile, as your car is to your standard and the only judge is yourself.

Power to you lads
