Found a heavy iron washer laying in the left side engine splash pan. Don't know how long it has been there.
It is 1 3/16" OD x 7/8" ID with "THIS SIDE Up" stamped on one side and other side has radial lines stamped with 1/8" spacing all around the other side.
Cannot find a drawing in parts books or info on this site.

That is 1/2 of an early king pin bearing.

I suspected you would know Ray. I told Bob I suspected the grooves were to distribute lubricant but didn't guess king pin.

Thanks for the quick answer.
Several months ago, I had the steering box side plate open in and attempt to remove some play in the Pitman Arm and was afraid that the washer was somehow part of the steering box even tho I had not done more then remove and replace side plate gaskets.
