These are cool, but since this forum and others are typically car/truck-year(s)or subject specific shouldn't this be posted in the "General Discussions" forum???? idea

Yep.....those 1937 vintage ads are really cool but they should probably be in the "General Discussions" forum since they are not really specific to 1937 Chevrolets.

I looked on General Discussions . The entire day they talked about Visa cards.
At least my post in the 37-42 section was showing an old Shell oil ad from the 1937-38 era. That's a little bit more to the heading of 1937 than general discussions are about a Visa card. General discussions could be about Roseanne Bar or who won the hockey game in South Dakota. It's a little bit "to" general for me. I'd reather read a post in a section that has SOME connection to a 37-38 chevy.

Did I ever tell you the story about my old chevy having a 1954 SHELL oil sticker in the glove box? Oh well, maybe another time. blush

Hi Folks,

As moderator I've gotten a few requests over the last couple days about topics in the 1937 - 1942 forum being off topic.

So I'm going to lock this and ask that these subjects be started in the "General Discussion" forum in the future.

Thanks for you help in this matter.
Jim
