ALL HANDS ON DECK...Hello fellas ,I just joined and I need your help.I have a 1966 Caprice 2dr sport coupe,396 with a factory 4-speed and 12 bolt. It's black with a blue interior...I think Bright Blue. Here's the kicker,my trim tag says 832 ?? I can't find anything for a '66 Caprice with a #832 TR tag in blue. A Biscayne lists an 832 for a blue interior but nothing for my car.I've got the " 16647 " on the tag as well so it is correct. All #'s match as well:Engine block,VIN,etc. Help ?

Is the 16647 on the trim tag or part of the VIN?

832 is blue patter imitation leather for model 15435 which is a Biscayne....Joe

Hello Joe, The 16647 is stamped on my Trim Tag and it's also on my VIN tag.On my Trim Tag, I have an a51 for strato-buckets and then a # 832 for the Interior color.I can't find an 832 for 1966 Caprice. I know there are mysteries sometimes with these old tags and I know it's the first year for Caprice as the top of the line...It's a beautiful blue...looks like a Bright Blue. I'm at a loss
