(Thank you Tiny, I hope your stomach settles down.)
This is my 2nd attempt to show off my '37 chevrolets. Something I wanted to add, I would like to replace the "high performance" rear differential with the "economy" version to reduce engine rpm at highway speeds. Any info on local salvage yards (east coast, ma, me, vt, ct, ri.) would be greatly appreciated.

Neither car looks that bad.
Its common for the knees to leak if then front wheels are jacked-up and hanging.
The 1937-1939 gears will be necessary. Your best bet is to find a street rodder that pulled the rear end out of a Master/Master 85.

I tried your suggestion and I think I'm missing it. Do you have a poster's name that might help??

I tried to get your individual pictures to post instead of the hyperlink but I'm not having any success either. PB is SO much easier to use.

iagree It would be so much easier if you could use the pictures on your p.c, like so many other car site use. Hit the browse button and it's there.....

Website resrictions limits the size. You need to use a site like Imageshack.

All you have to do is click on the photo you like and choose a size. It's really easy.

I tried that and all I got was the hyperlink, even using the image insert button above. Too clunky

I had checked both vehicles prior to jacking them up and found them to be low. I added about a quart of hydraulic fluid to each shock on both cars. They all started leaking again so up in the air they went and the leak became more obvious. The "black car" actually drove quite well except for having too much rear gear.

Thanks Chevgene,
I subscribe to a couple of street rod mags and for whatever reason it never occurred to me to contact them to ask for that communities help.
It will be interesting to see what type of responses I'll get.

I have a beautiful complete rear end from a 37 coup. Its all apart but all there if your interested. I am located on the south shore MA. About 25 miles from your home.

Hello Charlie,
Yes, I would be interested. If you would like to do a P.M. we can set something up.

Dave
