Hi! Say to me, I have such dimensions of my engine crankshaft 235, 1962. Can I overhaul this component? Can I grind and bore this component? I will select connecting rod bearings after boring?

You will forgive for my English, I use electronic translator, I please you write with simple language, to me it is difficult to understand technical words. I want to return my crankshaft to the boring, will sense this make with such sizes. To bring new crankshaft from the USA to Russia is sufficiently dear. If you know where to purchase crank in the USA, say to me. I will examine this version.
Thanks.

Depending on wear the crank can be ground and cylinders bored. If I recall correctly the block will handle.040 over bore with ease. Not sure about the crankshaft. talk

I had a 1954 235 that had a .060 overbore with no trouble.

The crankshaft can be turned down to an under size of .030 thosands of an inch. That is made smaller diameter. There are rod and main bearings available to fit this size.
