Some say "Street is neat". I prefer "1928 is great"

I have documented my 45 years with a 1928 Chev Tourer, from 1973 to 2018, and regulary add other items that I hope are of interest to others. Your comments are most welcome. The story of the Red Chev can be viewed at http://my28chev.blogspot.com/

The product was called top dressing. It was an asphalt based material that coated the top and sealed it from water penetration.

Quite a bit of difference in a 1930 Chevrolet and a 1930 Bently. What are all those gauges possibly being used for?

It's British.

Therefore, you have to constantly monitor EVERYTHING, because at any moment, something will probably stop working properly!!!! devil

I've been feeling guilty ever since I made that post above about "It's British." I have to say something to off-set that statement, and avoid the potential bad Karma.

So, here goes -

I think the Austin Healey 3000 is the sexiest car ever built, and honestly would take a nice British Racing Green 3000 (no separate color in the cove, please - solid BRG) above and beyond a Corvette of any year. And I love MGA's, too. And who would not get excited about a Jag XK120 - 150?

OK, I feel better now....

Several auto mags say the 61 XKE Jaguar is the best designed car in the world. 150 mph car in 1961 was rare.

I think that one would work if you painted it GREEN, but it is a little short on chrome!

Is this a chevy? Check out the bowtie on the radiator.

Coolest Chevrolet photo I've seen if it's a chevy.

Looks like a 1912?
