Looks like black (flat or semi gloss) on the inner fenders, what about the panels on each side of the radiator in front ?What is correct? Also , I have a 51 shop manual and there is no info on heater service. Is this info some where else ? It's not a big deal but the manual is real complete on every thing else. Thanks.

The information is in the "accessories installation manual", which I recommend having.

The under side of the hood is a semi-gloss black. All of the other sheet metal is gloss black.
The front splash pan is black behind the grille and car color between the bumper and grille.
The heater was a dealer installed accessory so it will not be in the shop manual. Chevrolet offered two heaters in 1952. The cheap one has the core inside the car and the Deluxe one has the heater core in a duct under the hood. There was also an aftermarket heater.
