A 1940 Chevy four door was GM's 25,000,000th car made. A 1955 was their 50,000,000th. I wonder how many they've made now????

Probably one for each person in the USA. 330 million people equal 330 million GM cars. Just guessing. wave

Over 14 million this year so far.

That was 2011. The site showed what actually sold. The 2012 models blend into the numbers by cars sold each month. I think the correct population for the US is 313.5 million, of course we don't really know anymore since the borders are not secure. In a couple of days E-Verify goes into effect in Tennessee, the newspapers say we will lose 3-4 % of the state population due to illegal aliens.Employers have to fill out a form for employees and verify if they are here legally thru the system.

Here's the quote.

Alabama will be instituting the country’s toughest immigration law, enacting a key provision which requires all employers who do business with any government entity to use E-Verify to check if employees are legal citizens, the AP reported. Georgia will follow suit with a similar law, requiring businesses with 500 or more employees to use E-Verify. The law will be phased in and employers with more than 10 employees will be included by July 2013. Louisiana, Tennessee, and South Carolina also passed similar laws involving E-Verify.

Wawuzit, could you give us that web site? When this started a couple days ago I tried a google search of "total Chevrolet sales figures" and got nothing.

Here's one of the sites. Each site has figures listed by different catagories.

I mow the grass. I'm going to show them the same document that I had to show them when they DRAFTED me in 1966.

Is there any record of what plant the 25 millionth car was produced, or what the serial number was?

Thanks, Ed
