I just received this from a friend, but the October edition has a real good article on "Rescuing Old Parts; How to Restore and Reuse Metal Components".

While the magazine is directed at "Industry Professionals", they usually have at least one great article like this one that DIYers can use. And, of course, they offer lots of adds for parts and tools and services.
