Have a 1934 Chevrolet half ton pickup with a 207 engine. This morning, I was out for a drive and an ungodly noise came from engine compartment. Turned out to be radiator fan that had cracked about 3/4 way through on one of the blades. Is the fan for a 216 engine interchangeable with the 207? Thanks. wjb

No - the fan must come from a 1934 thru 1936 if you find a used one.....Until then you can remove the complete broken blade and the one oposite of it...will check my supply later

Chevgene----Much thanks. Just to be sure I'm understanding you correctly, until I can locate a 34-36, I can remove the broken and opposite blades and run for awhile like that? wjb

Yes, if the blade is cut equally next to the point where it connects with the other blade it will be in balacne good enough for normal driving....or the blade can be removed completely and engine will do fine except for extended times of idling....plus the engine will be much more quite at road speed.Give it a try...
I do have a used passenger car blade. It was from my '34 car.I replaced it with a new one 35 years ago when they were readily available for low cost. The car blade is 1/2 inch shorter and much more quite than the truck blade.A 1/2 ton truck should get along with it well.Let me know if your intrested.

Its very common for pre 1937 blades to break.Your lucky that it didn't do any damage.......or take your head mad mad off.New ones have also become scarce.
