I saw that too and was amazed read somewhere that henry ford had that car on his showroom floor for 50 yrs,maybe that's where he got the Idea for the flathead V/8.Hmm

Luke brought this car to Flint for the Chevy 100 and VCCA 50th. He gave rides around the hotel to anyone who wanted one! Nice guy. I also had the oportunity to drive a 1918 Chummy Last fall at the Newport Hill Climb which is very similar to this one. It has 2 doors and the rear seat passengers have to enter the rear seat through the gap in the front seat. It also has the V8 and Luke is right, very comfortable to sit in and a dream to drive!

I've watched this video several times now wishing I was in the driver's seat. I never heard how it did in the Great Race. Anybody know?

I dont think the Great Race actually happened. If I am correct it ended up being a much much smaller event.

But, I could be wrong.
