I put a 55 235 in a panel truck 15 years ago. I had to modify the waterpump (shorten)buy 1 inch) to clear the rad. Looks like I'll have to do the same thing when putting a 61 235 in a 51 hardtop.I took out a 51 235 (not correct engine for a std. shift) The blocks are different and pumps won't interchange. When I modify the pump I'll need a shorter belt pully buy about 1 inch. 2 1/2 total height. I don't remember where I got the pully from. Thanks for the help in advance.
