Does anyone know if the windshield regulator for a 29-30 Buick is the same as a chevy, or if the parts are interchangeable?
THanks

I have a close friend with a 34 Buick 4 door sedan, long, low, lean, and IMHO it was a much higher priced, fancier vehicle than the '34 Chevy, so I suspect there are not likely any interchangeable parts between these two makes except perhaps some little universal stuff (like plugs, bulbs perhaps). Surprised no one has answered your query?

The 1934 BUick would depend on what series it is. If it is the small 40 series many body parts are the same as a 1934 Master.

I have a 1935 Buick 40 series and found most of the body parts are different than Chevrolet. Most items are just a little larger. Bob's Automobilia shows the windsheild regulator parts to replace the broken pot metal parts. Filling station also has the kits and they look the same as the Buick ones. The Chevrolets take different kits for 29-30 and the 31 is different. The shaft that the handle mounts on is different lengths. These kits are about $250.00. Chuick

I 1930 coach and I found I could get the buick parts cheaper, but if they won't work that is not gonna save me anything at all lol. I have aquired a regulator for a 28 chev and have been told I can make it work in my 30 if I modify the wooden regulator board but the shaft is square and I think the 30 is splined shaft. I think the roll up windhield is really cool and i want to get mine working.
Thanks for the replies
