Hey everyone I was wonder what others use to clean their chrome on their cars. I haven't decided what I should use. I can't tell any difference between one or another. Any recommendations ? Thanks, Cliff
not bad, yourself ? Thanks for asking.

I've used Simichrome, Mothers, and Never dull. They all work fairly well.

You might check with the Antique Mechanic to see if it's on his list!! I'll quit after this one Ray. I just couldn't resist.

In the radio shop I use super fine steel wool to polish and clean the chrome pieces.

If any WIZARD'S products are available...THEY ROCK!!!
two products-Metal Renew, a liquid-works very well on chrome and plated finishes
and they also make a wad style that is the same product on a very fine wool...this would be for aluminum or stainless or brass or anything that isn't plated
It smells of bubble gum too...bonus
Thanks... GregoryBee

YES, try it on some part you don't want. Then add some chrome polish of choice and do the finish work on your part you wish to clean. You will be surprised.

I have been riding Harleys and polishing chrome my whole life and semi-chrome is always one of my favorites until I was givin a bottle of Brite Boy Metal Polish. This stuff is amazing. When I bought my 31 coupe the bumpers had not been touched in over 10 years and they looked like they were rechromed in about 10 minutes. You just wipe it on/off, does not require rubbing. It takes out the small blemishes and pitts just like semi-chrome without the work.
