You can make one using 1/8" thick brass plate cut to 1 & 1/8 inches in diameter or try the "Filling Station" I think they charge about $12.00 US dollars for them. You just need a block of wood & hammer to drive the plate in 1 inch from the engine block water pump mounting surface (no gasket).
34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.

Go to your local parts house and purchase a flat freeze plug of the required diameter. Depending on the 'fit' of a dry run, you may require some sealant, however it is not normally needed. Place freeze plug in place and place the ball end of a ball peen hammer in the center of the plug. Use another hammer to expand the plug into position.

The 1935 baffle plate is a one year only part and no replacments are available. The plate is 3 1/8" outside diameter and it may be necessary to have one made. Can be insatlled without a "special tool".

The baffle plate on the early blocks allowed the foundry sand to be shaken out of the coolant passages when the block was cast. If it was left out and the water pump installed there would be nothing to keep the water flow thru the pump rather it would backflow into the block causing a major disrubution and no cooling hot spots around the cylinders. The baffle plate is the back of the water pump.
