I HAVE A 59 EL EL CAMINO THAT I'M RESTORING AND I WANT TO CONVERT THE FRONT TO DISC BRAKES I KNOW THERE ARE COMPLETE KITS OUT THERE BUT THERE HAS TO BE PARTS OFF OF OLDER CHEVYS THAT WILL BOLT ON.
I HAVE ACCESS TO A 83-4 MONTE CARLO FOR PARTS
WILL THIS FIT

The VCCA is about the restoration & the preservation of vintage Chevrolets. To add disc brakes to your El Camino would not be anything done to a car being restored. Sorry!....Joe

Well there are some members of VCCA that appreciate the kind of modification you are looking to do. Have you tried getting info at other Chevrolet sites? Most of us are not into doing them.

The vast majority of people on this site do not have a lot of experience upgrading mechanical parts. Some have changed from drum to disc so one of them may see your post and respond. You likely will find better response on another site. Can't imagine that there is not a bolt on change that can be made I just don't know what it might be.
