I recently acquired 2 1928? windshield regulators. I can tell by looking at them they are different than a 1930. Does anyone know if they will work for a 1930 though? If not I will be looking to trade for a good 1930 one I guess.

Greetings Kevin,

I have a '28 regulator in my '30 Coupe. I had to do some modification to the header board so the regulator would fit. It's been about 5 or 6 years since I did this, so I don't remember what exactly had to be done, but I do remember that it didn't take much. Just trimming out some of the wood.

Happy Motoring,

Dan

Thanks for the reply Dan. I was hoping it would work I don't know if I want to alter my wood though it is in pretty good shape. Maybe I will try to make a new piece of wood to fit it.
