Hi Chris,

Grant and I called in to see you at your stand at Bendigo to catch up, but you must have been somewhere else. Sorry we missed you. No doubt you would have been socialising or doing a bit of wheeling and dealing, unless you were up at the tandem trailer guy checking out the latest towing developments.

Hope the weekend has been a success for you.

Cheers

Ray

Some say "Street is neat". I prefer "1928 is great"

I have documented my 45 years with a 1928 Chev Tourer, from 1973 to 2018, and regulary add other items that I hope are of interest to others. Your comments are most welcome. The story of the Red Chev can be viewed at http://my28chev.blogspot.com/

veryrusty,

If you PM me with your e-mail address I will try to get some meaningful photos - won't be easy though. It's in a dark shed where it has been stored since 1992, and has an accumulation of garden tools, lawnmowers, spare parts etc. stacked around and on it, which would be too time-consuming to move unless there was a very good reason! I'll also tell you what I would be asking for it and why, if you are looking for price guidance for when you find one.

In passing, I would be very reluctant to sell it to anyone who has not personally seen and evaluated for themselves what is there, so it would probably have to be a local buyer. I will try advertising it locally after the wet season next year and see what happens.

Regards,

Frank

There is a 28 tourer in Sydney, currently registered and used regularly, never restored, doesn't need restoring, baring a new hood.
Give me a ring and I'll point you in the right direction.

Raycycled, Hi there Fella.

I have read some of your old posts with a lot of enjoyment.
You know, your Chev may be a bit rugged, and maybe even the owner as well, but I bet ya she is more reliable than some of those show ponies that can do 100 miles with the engine turned off.I reckon that a tradie like you who uses his old banger every day, well more power to you brother. Every mile is an honest mile in your Chev.

That all for now, signing off.

Frank, good evening to ya fella.

Thank you for the photos, certainly gives me something to think about. Impressed by the job done on the rebuilt wheels.

Thats all for now, signing off.
