Have you considered having your master cylinder sleeved with brass or stainless steel and installing a new kit?

I bought mine off ebay. Was skepticle at fist, because it was a rebuilt unit, however it has worked great. The price was half of what the other retailers wanted for a new one!

Have you tried Chevs of the Forties? They can also rebuild your's or sell you a rebuild kit. Also Natl. Chevy Assoc. Good luck.
