The door casing cover on the left has an aluminum dovetail wedge, the one on the right would use the plastic casing springs.

Anyone familiar with the one on the left?

Both were made by Ternsted MFG Co, Detroit, MI

The ones on my original 34 Master have the cast alloy ones, which are now pretty worn

I was mistaken-I actually have some of those on the right with rubber bumpers from a 35 standard 4dr
